Parks, Trails & Open Spaces

Take advantage of our many options to Get Outdoors, Castle Rock!

Enjoying our outdoor spaces means sharing them responsibly!

Whether you’re hiking, biking, or riding horseback, practicing good trail etiquette helps keep Castle Rock’s outdoor spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone.

  1. Stay on the Trail - Protect nature, and our trails, by sticking to designated paths. No trailblazing - leave it to the experts.

  2. Yield Appropriately - Bikers yield to hikers, and everyone yields to horses. Give way to those moving uphill.

  3. Leave No Trace - Pack out ALL trash and animal waste, respect wildlife, and keep pets leashed where required.

  4. Be Aware & Courteous - Keep music low, announce when passing, and maintain safe speeds.
