Get Outdoors, Castle Rock, with this Free Concert Series

The Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation is thrilled to bring you Tunes for Trails - a free summer concert series benefitting our local outdoor spaces. Concerts are hosted at the beautiful Phillip S. Miller Amphitheater, at the Miller Activity Complex (MAC).

Gates open at 5:30 pm and concerts begin at 6:30 pm. Pack a picnic to enjoy with the family before the show or purchase something from one of the food truck vendors. Be sure to have your ID checked when you enter if you plan on purchasing alcohol. Please Note: no outside alcohol permitted.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1.Can I bring my food and alcohol?

No outside beverages are allowed in other than ONE sealed water bottle per person. Bag searches will be performed upon entry.

2.Where do I park? Is there a fee to park?

Parking is free!

If parking is not available within the park, a parking crew member will direct you to overflow parking.

Overflow Parking

Overflow parking can be found outside Philip S. Miller Park in designated parking areas along Plum Creek Pkwy.

What time do the concerts start?

Free concerts are rain or shine. If the forecast allows for a delay, the show will be postponed for a period of time and canceled if time does not permit for the show to occur before 9 p.m.

While all of our shows are rain or shine, shows are canceled or rescheduled in cases of extreme and dangerous weather conditions for the safety of our patrons, staff, and performers. 

Please check the weather and dress for Colorado’s changing weather.

5.Will there be food and drinks for sale at the concerts?

Beer, wine, seltzers are for sale as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Each concert will have multiple food trucks. You can bring a picnic dinner, but no outside alcohol is allowed.

6. Can I bring my pet?

Yes, you can bring your well-behaved pet on a leash.

What can't I bring inside the venue?

  • Alcohol

  • Glass of any kind

  • Marijuana (all forms)

  • Soft Drinks

  • Water bottles, except factory-sealed water bottles. One per person.

8. What size chair can I bring to the venue?

You can bring any type of lawn chair. There are a limited about of table and chairs which some are first-come, first-served.

9.Will I be allowed readmission if I leave?

Yes, you may re-enter the venue, but will be subject to bag check.

10. Are children allowed?

Free concerts are family and pet friendly events.

11. I am older than you, why do I have to show you my ID?

We understand that it might be an inconvenience, but it is the law. Please be kind to our volunteers.
